βœ… 2,144 people have fully recovered from COVID-19 in BC.

❗ Today, the Provincial State of Emergency has been extended for another two weeks. The Moratorium on evictions and rent-freeze remains in effect.

πŸ”΄ Sadly, one more person has passed away due to COVID-19. I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to their family and community as they grieve the loss of a loved one.

πŸ’» Now more than ever we need to stand against racism in our province. Today at 5:30 join Premier John Horgan and The Honourable Anne Kang, Minister of Citizen’s Services for the BC Multiculturalism & Anti-Racism Awards Ceremony to celebrate exceptional people and organizations working to fight racism in their communities. You can stream the entire event here: https://www.facebook.com/BCProvincialGovernment

❓ The BC Centre for Disease Control wants to hear from you about your experience during this pandemic. You can access the survey at this link: www.bccdc.ca/covid19survey

We are moving forward carefully into Phase 2, assessing our progress week by week, and we are encouraged by what we have seen so far. With this in mind, let’s continue to take advantage of parks and other activities closer to home, and look to increase social interactions only after fully considering the risks to you and your family. Once we have a good understanding of how we are doing in mid-June, we’ll have the data we need to determine our timing for further actions.

Be safe. Be well.
