🔴 Sadly, four more people have passed away due to COVID-19 in BC. My thoughts are with the communities and families of all of those who have lost a loved one during this pandemic.

🏕 Many provincial campgrounds and recreation sites open June 1st. More parks will also open for day-use activities. Let’s remember to continue to practice social distancing and to enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

✅ The BC government is supporting the tourism industry by providing destination marketing organizations (non-profits that help support regional tourism) with $10 million in grant-funding.

Let’s remember Dr. Henry’s advice: “What is clear for all of us is that our success so far, and our ability to further ease restrictions ahead, relies on our shared commitment and effort. Let’s keep going and keep everyone safe.”
