COVID-19 Update April 7, 2020:

📊 There are 25 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in BC. There are a total of 1,291 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in BC. There are 458 confirmed cases in Fraser health region.

More than 900 spaces have been secured at 23 sites including hotels, motels and community centres throughout B.C. to help those most vulnerable to self-isolate.

🔴 I am very sad to report that there have been 4 additional deaths in BC due to COVID-19. This brings the total number of deaths in BC to 43. As Minister Dix mentioned: to all those impacted, we see and we feel your grief. I extend my condolences to all the families in this truly difficult time.

805 people have fully recovered from COVID-19.

You are proving that social distancing works. As Dr. Henry said, now is the time to double-down on our efforts. Every day that we socially distance is making an impact. We can do this.
