πŸ“Š There are 44 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in BC. There are a total of 1,561 confirmed cases in BC. There are 623 cases in the Fraser Health region.

βœ… The federal government has expanded the eligibility for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB); seasonal workers, part-time workers, and those earning less than $1,000/month are now eligible.

πŸ”΄ I am very sad to inform that three more people have passed away due to COVID-19 in BC. My hearts go out to their families.

⚠ Today Premier John Horgan extended the Provincial State of Emergency until April 28th.

🎼 To help lift our spirits, Showcase BC is putting on free performances by Desiree Dawson, Alex Cuba, Dan Mangan, and Kym Gouthie. You can watch the livestream on all Government of British Columbia social media channels, tomorrow at 4pm.

In the words of Premier John Horgan: β€œwe are starting to see the results of our sacrifice, dedication and hard work, and we must continue to be steadfast in our commitment to keep our communities safe – for ourselves, our loved ones and our workers on the front lines”.

Together, let’s keep making a difference.
