Last week, I had the chance express my gratitude to all of the child care operators in our community for the miraculous work they have done to keep our children safe, especially in these incredibly demanding circumstances.

I want to give a special thanks to First Choice Daycare, Exploring Minds Childcare Center, Bluebirds Early Learning Childcare, Little Willows Early Learning Childcare Centre, and Buds and Blossoms Childcare Centre for all that they have done for children and families in Maple Ridge and Mission during this pandemic.

Child care operators have one of the most important jobs in our society – caring for our children. Our government understands the value of their vital work, and we will support them every step along the way.
