COVID-19 Update May 9, 2020:

📊 There are 15 new confirmed cases. There area total of 2,330 cases in BC. There are 1,098 cases in the Fraser Health region.

✅ 1,659 people in BC have fully recovered from COVID-19.

🔴 I am very sad to report that 2 more people have passed away due to COVID-19 in BC. I offer my condolences to their families and communities.

✅ On Wednesday, Premier John Horgan outlined BC’s careful four-phase plan to restart our province. We are currently in Phase 1, and will move to Phase 2 in Mid-May. For more information on BC’s Restart Plan, please visit: www.gov.bc.ca/restartbc

As Dr. Henry said today, we are still in Phase 1 and physical distancing restrictions remain in place. We need to continue our efforts. We can enjoy this great weekend weather while making sure we maintain that safe physical distance.
