COVID-19 March 30, 2020:

📊 There are 86 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in British Columbia for a total of 970 cases. 16 of the new cases came from March 29, with the remaining 70 new cases coming from the last 24 hours. There are 323 cases in the Fraser Health region.

Dr. Henry reiterated that small groups inside like for house parties are a risk, and small and large groups outside are a risk.

🟥 Another two people have died due to COVID-19. My heart goes out to the families.

🟢 The Ministry of Health is suspending paid parking at hospitals for staff, patients, and visitors starting Wednesday April 1st.

Today BC received a shipment of one million surgical masks.

469 people or 48% of cases have fully recovered.

As Dr. Henry said today, we are at a critical turning point in this pandemic. What happens next is in our hands; we must practice social distancing.
