COVID-19 Update March 28, 2020

COVID-19 Update March 28, 2020:

📊 There are 92 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in British Columbia for a total of 884 cases. There are 291 cases in the Fraser Health region.

🟥 One more person has died of COVID-19. This brings the total number of deaths in BC to 17. My thoughts are with all of the families.

🏥 There are over 4,200 empty hospital beds in preparation for an increase in cases.

There are 396 people who have fully recovered or over 40% of all cases.

As we heard yesterday, social distancing is beginning to work. We need to maintain our efforts for the health of those most vulnerable to this virus, and for our health care workers.

Stay home. Stay Safe. Stay well.
