COVID-19 Update April 1, 2020:

📊 There are 53 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 for a total of 1066 confirmed cases in British Columbia. There are 367 cases in the Fraser Health Region.

❗ Last night, Premier John Horgan extended the Provincial State of Emergency until April 14th.

🔴 Sadly, one more person has passed due to COVID-19. This brings the total number of deaths in BC to 25. This patient was in the Fraser Health region. Again, I wish to extend my condolences to their families during this difficult time.

⚡ Today Minister for Energy, Mines, and Petroleum Resources Bruce Ralston and the Premier announced relief for BC Hydro consumers including a non-payable three-month credit, and a 1% rate decrease.

✅ The Province has created an online platform, COVID-19 SupplyHub, to coordinate donations of medical supplies and personal protective equipment.
